The word of God is the thought of God that determines reality. That is, according to God's thoughts and plans, reality unfolds. He exists as the reality that is present in every space, in all of time, and with the complete power to do whatever He pleases. God is completely independent of any other power that would cause Him to act apart from His thought of reality. Man is completely dependent upon God for everything. Man breathes every breath because God thinks it. One thought of God would erase the entire history of mankind. God is the only true reality and everything else is dependent on Him.It is a common misconception that humans are capable of thinking like God. However, research shows that human thoughts are often opposed to complete dependence on God. Men and women desire to think independently from God from the moment they are born. Every design or institution created by humans is evidence of the futility of human thinking. There is no human institution that has lasted from one generation to the next. The only lasting design in this world is what God has thought in bringing glory to Himself. God has always existed and He will continue to exist through out all generations.
