In this world, people often shape their memories to reinforce their sense of worth, pushing themselves to gain greater influence and establish a legacy. However, God's sovereignty remains unchallenged and supreme. The act of remembering becomes a battlefield within our minds, as we try to control and define our own stories, yet ultimately, it is God who speaks reality into existence from beyond our understanding. The circumstances we face are not random; they serve to confirm the divine purposes behind every change—causes rooted in a spiritual realm that transcends our physical perception. The material aspects of the universe are secondary and subordinate; in the end, God remembers us in our true identity, affirming the reality of our existence in Him. This truth is embodied in the prayer “Remember me”—a humble plea that echoes the understanding that all of reality’s identity is ultimately governed and defined by God. As we come to truly know who God is, our communication aligns more closely with His divine working. He is not only the Creator of the future but also the One who ordains forgetfulness—arranging circumstances that shape our lives, using our lack, our emptiness, as a means to judge the wicked and bring about divine justice. The world, therefore, appears turned upside down: real power resides in spiritual virtues and in surrendering worldly status, because God will not share His glory with anyone.  In this divine dialogue, God actively reshapes our identity by engaging us in a higher mode of thought. He re-creates our past—not simply rewriting history but reinterpreting it through His eternal perspective. We lack the power to define our purpose or to change the meaning of our history on our own; that is why, deepening our relationship with Him, we find ourselves capable of forgetting—because true understanding involves recognizing that our past was never truly ours to define in the present. God speaks to us in a language far beyond our limited comprehension, transcending human understanding. His communication operates on a plane we cannot fully grasp, which is why His examination of our lives redefines our very place in the world. Through a divine, contemplative reality that surpasses our immediate circumstances, God considers not only our actions but also the thoughts of others—focusing on personal power and influence—yet He does so in a vocabulary that remains mysterious and inscrutable to us.
