Yet, within our culture, a deep confusion persists: Who is Jesus truly? Many voices, many personal experiences, and various teachings claim to portray Him, but often they are mere echoes—distorted copies of the authentic Jesus. Some insist that unless you explicitly declare Jesus as Lord, you do not truly know Him. But the truth is different—*we do not make Jesus Lord;* He *already is* Lord from eternity. Our acknowledgment of His Lordship is not the act of creating or establishing it; it is a recognition of what has always been. The divine sovereignty of Jesus belongs to Him eternally. When He came into our world through the incarnation, Jesus entered history as the very glory of God made flesh—humbling Himself, becoming part of the human story. He was the eternal Word from Heaven, the fulfillment of Israel’s deepest longings, the embodiment of ancient hopes. From this divine revelation, we are drawn into His Word—His mighty acts proclaimed throughout the earth—until every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. His ultimate revelation will culminate in a sudden, awe-inspiring display: the Lamb revealed in His glory, the majesty of God unveiled, causing the entire world to fall to its knees in recognition of His sovereignty. Then, all mankind will acknowledge that Jesus—the Lamb of God—is indeed the Lord of all glory. Would you like me to tailor this further or focus on particular themes? When Jesus came to earth, He brought salvation—not only for Israel but for all mankind. The God-Man was worshiped, revered, and in His work, He replaced temple worship itself. Demonstrating divine power, He healed the sick, forgave sins, challenged the religious authorities of His day, and rescued His people from their sins. He was Jehovah in human form—God with us—who died and was raised again, ascending to claim His rightful throne as the Son of David. In His ascension, He led captivity captive, bringing a multitude of redeemed souls into heavenly worship. And still, He reigns, reigning until the end of the age, leading captivity captive and gathering His people into eternal praise.
