Would you like me to modify the tone further or customize it to emulate a particular renowned author? As I reflect on the journey of life, I am firmly convinced that our practical experiences give rise to countless questions, each demanding thoughtful answers. A Christian, while protected from overt influence by Satan, still carries within—hidden burdens and ingrained tendencies formed through a process of learned behaviors rooted in satanic influence. Picture it: we are connected to various family lineages, each bearing a history that shapes our doctrinal beliefs and inclinations. These histories become realities within our minds, influencing how we see the world and the attractions we feel in our relationships. To clarify this further, consider ourselves as beings who perceive and feel through a lens—our worldview tinted by underlying dispositions. At the heart of it all, we wrestle with fundamental issues: the ultimate role of divine grace that guides our trust and confidence. Our experience of this grace can be gauged by the strength of power we recognize within ourselves—how well we understand and embody its truth. Do you see our ongoing conflict with the personal devil in this context? Why do I mention the black line—the ‘horizontal rule’—on the thread? Is there a black line beneath your screen? Ah, I understand—the issue was the ‘expand’ key on my keyboard; I prefer enlarging the text for clarity. The first question we need to ask, especially given our American-spirited tendencies, is: upon waking, how do I evaluate the activity of rejection within me—particularly regarding my attitude toward scripture and my acts of goodness? We must strive to understand ourselves through genuine grace. Grace, after all, is a form of confidence—a trust that remains within us when we are free from rejection and blame. Yet, often, lingering anger or a desire to prove our righteousness clouds this confidence. Let’s be honest: this is precisely where religion often fosters the most troublesome spirits—those tendencies toward self-righteousness and condemnation. True prayer requires us to confront these rejections honestly, with the goal of understanding and removing them. This is the deepest battleground—the place where Satan strives to prevent us from experiencing the peace that is ours through Christ. Many people remain stuck at this stage, paralyzed by the enormity of their inner struggle.
