To gain a deeper understanding of ourselves, we must first raise our thoughts to a higher level centered on God. This shift in perspective distinguishes a secular view of humanity from a spiritual one. As individuals who receive life from God's eternal presence and the embodiment of His will, our understanding of our own existence should be based on this divine framework. Any lack of understanding or ignorance about our nature is a result of God either blessing us with His favor and grace, or withholding it, ultimately shaping our spiritual well-being through His mysterious guidance. His presence provides strength during challenging times, while His absence can leave us feeling confused and troubled. Our emotions are often shaped by our beliefs, but they are also influenced by our trust in God's divine plan for us and our understanding of His will. When we encounter challenges, it signifies that God is leading us through a period of internal struggle to fulfill His purpose in our lives. Our relationship with Him is steadfast, and His presence is essential for our well-being. We interpret distress as a manifestation of His work in our lives, and every form of support, progress, and achievement is attributed to His guidance. Our moments of rest are also under His care. He has orchestrated our struggles as part of His greater design, and our emotions reflect our connection to Him. Like leaves drawing life from a vine, we derive our strength from Him. Our pursuit of Him is constant, our calls to Him are continuous, and our focus on Him is unceasing. In Him, we discover everything we require.
