Possessing grace leads individuals to have a proper understanding and reverence for the law. It is crucial to understand that the law does not bring salvation on its own, but rather reveals our sinful tendencies. The primary purpose of the law is to condemn, but those who have received salvation through grace are able to have faith. This grace influences every aspect of their lives. The apostle Paul credited any positive qualities in himself to the grace of God at work within him. Essentially, all of Paul's actions were a result of God's favor and not his own striving. Without the grace of God, we lack the ability to carry out any righteous deeds in His presence. It is only through His righteousness that we are capable of achieving goodness. God not only empowers us to act, but also guides and corrects us in our behaviors. He equips us to do what is morally right, revealing His kindness, approval, and eternal love. Through His grace, we gain spiritual treasures like fortitude, insight, pardon, compliance, and all positive aspects that enrich our lives for our betterment and His honor. Embracing this knowledge means embracing His grace.
