The act of creation is attributed to God, who brought matter into existence through His spoken word. He demonstrated His control over nothingness and manifested something out of nothing. This showcases His capacity to transition between different states by exercising His will. His word, or decree, serves as the means to bring things into being through His will. Consequently, all things exist in their respective positions due to His word. His omnipotent nature allows Him to possess the power to will existence over everything, at all times and in all places. Without this capability, He would not hold the title of the Most High, nor would He be considered God.
If it is true that God is the ultimate authority in all things, then it logically follows that He is responsible for our moral choices. This is because our choices are determined by our strongest desires, and if God has a will to choose, then any alternative choice is ultimately part of His plan. God's choice is the initial action that brings about all other choices, and therefore anything that exists as a result of a choice is ultimately determined by God. The concept of how man can sin and God can decree it is a perplexing mystery, but it is evident that God did decree the sin of man in the garden. Consequently, everything we experience and the pleasure we derive from the unfolding of events is a result of God's decree. Our act of praising Him is born out of our recognition of our limitations and inadequacies. Our desire to praise Him is not powerful enough to be truly praiseworthy in comparison to His will for us to praise Him. Thus, it is clear that everything that exists is dependent on His words, and this is evident when we observe the physical universe.
