If one side of the scale is lower due to the weight being heavier than the other side, it indicates a clear and stronger desire. Therefore, the choice that aligns with this stronger desire is the most desired one. The weight represents this stronger desire, which connects the choice to the object. It is important to note that the cause of the choice lies in its nature and not in having two equal objects or one object to replace the equally good choice. The connection between the choice and the object is determined by the nature of the cause. Without a connection between their natures, there cannot be a relational connection, extending to every connection infinitely. As the choice is the reason for any connection with the object, the nature of the connection is influenced by the nature of the cause. Alternatively, the effect of the choice determines the nature of the connection. Therefore, the idea of an equal and balanced connection is merely hypothetical, as there is no cause for the choice other than the choice itself or the choice preceding it. Since there is no cause, there is no logical basis for a connection to the effect, resulting in no real connection to the object.
