Living in a thriving church community can be challenging during times when religious practices become mechanical and lack genuine spiritual depth. It becomes difficult to discern between those who authentically embody Christian values and those who merely go through the motions. Many individuals find comfort in engaging in church activities without truly understanding the essence of Christ's teachings. I believe that the true spiritual work is carried out by humble individuals who may be facing personal struggles but remain steadfast in their faith in Christ. On the day of reckoning, we may be surprised by who truly lived according to Christ's teachings. I find it easier to connect with individuals who display immense kindness and generosity, surpassing many church members. They possess a more realistic understanding of human flaws, empathize with others, and engage in both joy and sorrow alongside their peers. Despite their admirable qualities, they do not prioritize nurturing a relationship with Christ. Bearing fruit is a reflection of living in alignment with the essence of salvation. I have observed individuals who exhibit remarkable generosity and kindness, even surpassing those who adhere to Calvinist beliefs. These individuals, who may not have a relationship with Christ, wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to helping others and are actively involved in various charitable acts. However, their actions do not reflect a deep desire to form a connection with Christ. Their lives lack the spiritual connection symbolized by the vine and branches.
