Presenting faith as an innate ability within all individuals that enables them to follow commands suggests a misconception of faith as a mere action or work. This perspective implies that obedience to commands serves as a means of strengthening faith, or that faith is essentially a self-assessment process leading to true belief. In reality, faith is a collaboration between God's work and man's response. The issue lies in the fact that true faith cannot be simply determined by adherence to scriptural commands. The Christian life should not be viewed as consisting of two separate realms, as faith encompasses multiple facets. Genuine faith is instilled within us through the implantation of God's word, as it is through hearing and internalizing the word of God that faith is truly grasped. Therefore, true faith is initially taught to us and comprehended through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

However, faith is derived from the influence of the Spirit through the enlightenment of the scriptures in our minds. Therefore, it can be said that salvation encompasses the entirety of the doctrines that describe genuine grace. This teaching, known as the doctrines of grace, guides individuals towards a faith in God. It is through teaching that faith can be nurtured and developed. Teaching serves as the divine path that leads a person to follow Christ, much like sheep following a Shepherd. We recognize our own inadequacies and acknowledge that we are incapable of doing anything good without God's intervention. Our thoughts are only accurate when they are aligned with the authority of Christ. Any independent thinking leads to erroneous beliefs and subsequent wrongful actions. This is the essence of the Christian journey, as we are guided by the word of God and the influence of the Spirit. Just as faith is a bestowed gift, our ability to live in faith is also granted to us as we seek external sources of positive inspiration that cultivate our faith.

This is the fundamental reason why it is unattainable to garner favor from God or fulfill the necessary requirements for Him to bestow His approval upon us, without the presence of faith. The essence of faith lies in the understanding that we are guided through representation, rather than personal contribution. We are not responsible for augmenting the teachings of faith with our own efforts. Whenever the scriptures dictate a certain action, God ensures that we possess the capability to accomplish it. This capability was ordained by God since the beginning of time. Our comprehension of faith is bestowed upon us through the benevolence of God's grace. Each action is bestowed with the preexistent ability to succeed. Therefore, we assert that faith is instilled within us through the enlightening teachings of the Holy Spirit, and its potency is enhanced through our association with Christ.
