Father, we are aware of the contempt we face due to the actions of malevolent individuals who plot evil schemes in their hearts. They have not taken you into account in their thoughts, but instead their intentions are deceitful and their words are filled with malice. Despite this, you have remained faithful to your followers. The king requests that you shield the less fortunate from the grasp of the wicked. Why do these individuals conspire against the vulnerable and convince themselves that God is unaware of their actions? Oh mighty ruler of the world, please stand up and rescue the needy from the clutches of the malevolent.

We are aware that your methods prioritize peace, as evidenced by the harmonious nature of nations under your rule, comparable to calm and innocent calves. Father, why do individuals assert their independence to such a degree that they become immune to charm, even when faced with the persuasive tactics of a skilled snake charmer? Yet, paradoxically, their behavior remains as malicious as the venomous bite of a snake. Father, the decisions made by these rulers only lead to distress and threats. If you were to discipline nations and impart wisdom to men, causing them to recognize the futility of their own thoughts, we trust that your justice will prevail. We acknowledge your ability to diminish the power of leaders, likening their influence to that of a lifeless infant or a dissolving slug. The righteous and those who surround your throne continuously beseech you, day and night, longing for the day when you will restore righteousness in all things. Our desire has reached a point where we yearn for retribution against the wicked, symbolized by the imagery of immersing our feet in their blood.

Father, we acknowledge that our honor comes from your righteousness. Without your righteous Son as the gatekeeper, no one could enter your temple. We are grateful to find peace and prosperity in your refuge, as you abundantly provide for us and protect our cities. Through the oracles of God, we understand the glory of your holiness, which is manifested in your powerful and majestic rule over the world. We are thankful that we do not have to navigate our way on our own.

We yearn for the divine presence of the living God, as our souls are deeply thirsty for His presence. We eagerly desire to meet our God. However, some skeptics question the existence of our God, asking where He is amidst the passing of time. Yet, our God resides in heaven and exercises His will as He pleases. We humbly request that He graciously bestow upon us the abundance and goodness that emanate from His divine table. As we partake in this feast, even in the presence of our adversaries, they will bear witness to the blessings bestowed upon us on the day of retribution. It is on this day that the world will acknowledge and declare that we have been truly blessed by God, as we are delivered from all afflictions.

May we partake in the abundance of blessings at your table, in order to seek your presence in your sanctuary. Your teachings resonate within us, prompting us to seek your presence. We are devoted to seeking your face, O Lord, and we pray that you do not turn your face from us in displeasure. Allow us to delight in you and celebrate before you. Grant us the peace to rest in your presence, acknowledging that there is nothing on this earth that compares to you. Our gracious God provides us with comfort beyond measure, and we offer praise to the Almighty ruler of all the earth.
