Unending adoration is owed to God due to His inherent worthiness, rather than our mere proclamation of His worth. Praising God is the expression of His pleasure. There are desires instilled by God within us that surpass our comprehension. Therefore, all the gifts bestowed upon us by God, such as His love, goodness, and faithfulness, are infused with this overwhelming pleasure that surpasses our own capacity to love and desire good. The apostle concluded that God's love was bestowed upon us in a manner that would consume us completely, in terms of its magnitude and depth. God gifts us with a consuming pleasure in response to our praise, which goes beyond our true sense of self. I firmly believe that Christ living within us is the ultimate gift, enabling us to experience such profound pleasure that we become consumed by Him, to the extent that we cease to exist as individuals. Instead, it is Christ who lives in us.

The act of praising God is a gift bestowed upon us, as it allows us to experience His overwhelming love. Just like the Psalmist, we realize that we have not praised Him in the past as He truly deserves. We acknowledge that there is not enough power and insight within us to praise God adequately. Therefore, God must intervene in our lives in order for us to be able to praise Him. When we recognize His deserving of our praise before actually praising Him, we are focused on yearning for a deeper connection with God. This experience signifies God's presence in our lives and instills in us an insatiable desire for Him. We find delight in embracing our limited understanding of our own worth and find fulfillment in experiencing Christ within us. Our hearts are filled with unquenchable longings for God.
