The Lord, in His divine capacity, is the ultimate creator and sustainer of all things in existence. When God freed the Israelites from their bondage in Egypt, He guided them through the treacherous desert towards the promised land by means of a cloud. This cloud served as a tangible manifestation of God's dominion over creation, as He continuously orchestrates the movements of all created entities. In this manner, God actively engages with His hands in the acts of creation and recreation. In the book of Acts, the Apostle emphasizes that our very existence and mobility are reliant upon God, as we are intimately connected to Him. Furthermore, not only does God work harmoniously with the elements of creation, but He also upholds and sustains us as individuals. The Psalmist conveys that God graciously exhibited His power and order to the Israelites through the cloud, shielding them from the scorching desert sun and even providing them with protection during rest by obscuring the moonlight. This serves as a symbolic representation of Christ's incarnation, wherein He took on human form and obediently carried out the Father's will flawlessly. Just as God led the Israelites through perilous terrain to their promised destination, Christ has made us fully acceptable to the Father through His perfect actions and atonement for our sins. Therefore, any work we undertake in this earthly life is only deemed worthy by the Father due to Christ's preceding accomplishments. Our provisions are boundless, and our failures are remedied, as we are completely embraced and approved in Christ.
