Why do we react as if there is a will that competes with God's? Why do we feel the tension between good and evil? If there is grace on this earth, it has already vanquished evil. Where grace exists, evil is nonexistent. The power of evil is comparable to a minuscule spark being consumed by an atomic bomb. The presence of grace signifies God's absolute dominion, as if we were all already in the future eternal kingdom without any opposition. Grace eradicates any resistance to God's will. The reason we struggle with tension is because we are corrupted in every aspect and affected by the curse of pragmatism. He perceives it with flawless discernment. There is never a moment when God engages in a struggle between conflicting wills when confronting evil. God has already dealt with evil before it even happens. Although we are bound by the constraints of time, God determines all reality as if we were already facing His judgment. There is no force or level of repugnance in any act that can oppose God, as His curse renders them powerless. Throughout the entire history of the earth, God never loses authority or reverence. We must dispel the notion that God's response to evil is an attempt to control it. God perceives every instance of evil and has predetermined both its occurrence and the agent responsible since before the world was created. When we come to understand that evil is within God's purview, we find freedom from anxiety. How does God perceive evil?
