Although I do not endorse the philosophy of quietism, I contend that the reformed stance of condemnation towards inactive facets of Christian worship is equally misdirected. Currently, there exists a greater inclination towards a partially practical perspective on moral conduct rather than fully embracing the esoteric elements of the Christian encounter, particularly in our modern, rapid-paced society. This phenomenon can be attributed to our established proclivities and cognitive frameworks established during our developmental years. As an saint who practices meditation, it is imperative that I elucidate my personal experience in order to provide an alternative perspective on the prevalent cultural tendencies towards human exertion and obedience. For the past 25 years, I have dedicated myself to memorizing extensive scriptural passages, with a particular fondness for the Psalms. My cultural social codes instilled within me a pragmatic mindset rooted in reactionary theology. The utilization of the principles of noncompliance and proactive compliance is critical in the endeavor to address unfavorable behaviors through constructive measures. The tendency to succumb to challenging circumstances rather than overcoming them has had a significant negative impact on ones religious beliefs. This contradiction seems to be deeply ingrained in the American mentality. The true transformation of one's heart does not stem from mere action, but rather from the individual's perspective and approach towards the given situation. Within contemporary Christian society, there exists a prevailing attitude. This statement posits that by putting in persistent effort towards change, lasting change can be achieved through a gradual process of becoming a well-integrated member of society. Within this framework lies a seed of reactionary philosophy, wherein significant upheaval in one's circumstances can serve as a catalyst for change, driven by a sense of guilt and a corresponding commitment to taking the necessary steps towards transformation.Upon engaging in introspection, one comes to acknowledge a warning signal that bears similarities to an alert for potential danger, indicating a propensity for impulsive reactions as a result of the overpowering influence of collective dynamics. The pervasive cultural norms have exerted a marked effect on a person, pressurizing to conform and dissuading from acting rashly. As a result, one experiences feelings of shame and recognize the importance of cultivating mindfulness, physical and mental wellbeing, and inner tranquility to preserve ones equanimity. In order to comprehend the mystical transformative power of scripture, it is imperative to have undergone extensive meditation in the Psalms over a prolonged period. Failure to do so may result in a misguided evaluation of its significance through a lens of contemporary reactionary philosophies. The essential factor in the process of reformation is of a supernatural nature, and this supernatural aspect encompasses not only the actions of Christ on the cross, the formation of the earth, or the miracles recounted in the Old Testament, but also encompasses the mysterious components of human desires such as love, joy, and rest, which are integral to our ongoing communion with God.This perspective extends beyond simply offering guidance to those experiencing opposition and instead delves into the situation of imprisoned individuals who lack the ability to control their circumstances and must rely on their gospel beliefs for solace. This poses a significant challenge in capturing the attention of the general American public. The source of anxiety and loss of faith is not necessarily linked to the specific occurrences leading to confrontation or other personal struggles, but rather stems from the fundamental worldview that individuals were exposed to during their formative years. An individual's theological upbringing has a more profound impact on their capacity to cope with challenging situations than the particular circumstances of their upbringing.Individuals possessing extensive knowledge of Biblical teachings acknowledge that it communicates the notion of humanity's struggle with sin and acknowledges that life on Earth is not devoid of obstacles, setbacks, and losses. The Bible does not offer a specific course of action for dealing with challenging situations; rather, it encourages individuals to confront and manage their circumstances with endurance and adaptability instead of seeking a swift resolution to avoid them. It is important to bear in mind that the level of desire one possesses to alleviate a given situation is proportional to the level of complacency one may exhibit towards the divine, once said situation has been ameliorated. The statement holds veracity as it pertains to ones personal struggle of bringing all aspects of life under the authority of biblical teachings. This presents a world view challenge that carries significant influence over the societal pressure to conform to a pragmatic mindset prevalent in American culture. A comprehensive understanding of the significance of trials and the experience of succumbing to sin, as well as strategies to overcome spiritual problems, can only be achieved through finding solace in Christ and relying on Him to vanquish our foes. In order to attain such knowledge, one must dedicate substantial periods of time to contemplation of God's essence in a tranquil setting. The immense potency of God and His remarkable capabilities to act in our favor are deeply revered. While we do not subscribe to quietism, we firmly hold the belief in expeditious, miraculous metamorphosis facilitated by meditating on His word, which can fundamentally alter ones attitudes while in a state of repos
