In order to understand the motives of our enemies, it is essential to understand the course of history. Our enemies are not always easily identifiable; this is why I've said this before, but in God's view, the whole of history has already come to its culmination. Now, if we believe that there are things yet to be worked out as part of the fundamental purpose to this culmination, then there is reason for us who want to go to heaven, and opposed to going to hell, to be horrified. But since the purpose of the world is ordered and fixed, then we can be sure that our salvation is fixed as well.This is why I have spent so much time distinguishing between living the blessed life and being delivered from the cursed life. Because the law of God not only pronounces judgement to law breakers, but it also brings men to be eternally punished in time. And this does not make us look at it as a horror movie; it puts all of the proof of it on God. The law is not a horror movie, but it does put the proof of God's judgement on humanity.I believe in the absolute sovereignty of God because it not only protects Him from needing to prove His faithfulness, but also places Him under obligations to show Himself to be faithful according to His covenant. This is a key reason why I maintain my belief in the absolute sovereignty of God.
