I would like to share my thoughts on Christian liberalism within the church. In my opinion, it is a general view that I have observed in the American sense. I agree with the statement "those who swear by God's name will praise Him." We believe that all of life is glorifying God by enjoying Him forever. I think that Christian liberalism is a good thing because it allows people to share their own views on Christianity and how to live their lives. It also helps promote an understanding and acceptance of different people within the church. When we think about how great and powerful God is, we realize that swearing is a way of understanding the epistemology of salvation. In other words, it is a way of understanding and knowing God through His saving power. This is why we should never compromise on the five points of the gospel. Liberals tend to focus on the means of spreading the gospel instead of the gospel itself, but we should all be united in our efforts to spread the good news.We cannot go back on our convictions or we will not only be betraying ourselves, but we will also be failing to uphold the unity that we need. This is why the religious counsel has no life to it. We change the glory of the real Person for the things themselves. Therefore, when we make oaths in praise of God, we are only trying to convince others of what we have sworn to. This is because anything else would be a form of idolatry. If we prioritize the presentation of the gospel over everything else, we will be susceptible to being influenced by false doctrine. As reformers, we are always trying to return to the original understanding of God's sovereignty, which is what we have pledged to do. We live with people who don't fully understand what they are pledging, and that's because we need to be united in our understanding of the doctrines of grace. This unity is essential to the kind of advice or counsel that we give each other. And this is why we are able to judge the vision that we have of what is unity. Because we measure everything that we tell others by our allegiance to our first principles of doctrine, we are able to see if they are headed in the right direction. In our attitude of accepting the weaker brother or those who are not convinced, we seek to warn them about the direction they are taking, not because they are necessarily evil in the disagreement, but because they have a different view of direction. By doing this, we are ensuring that the gospel message is not being made ineffective.
