I do not think we can truly treat our children as if they belong to God if we do not actually believe that they are in God's hands. This is why it is important for us to have a clear understanding of God and His rights, because if we are confused about God's right to choose, we may try to force His hand and do things to our children that He never authorized. The Bible does not warn fathers about being lenient as much as it warns us about driving our children to despair. The apostles' admonition is important to keep in mind.It is crucial that we come to grips with the fact that salvation is something that comes from God, not from ourselves. If we concentrate on the wrong things, it can result in either our own rebellion or our children going down false paths. Everyone has their own way of thinking, and we think it is incumbent on us to instruct our children in the right doctrine. This doctrine will provide them with the right framework for understanding all the different kinds of relationships they will encounter as they mature and become more autonomous. We believe that the Christian doctrine of grace is a reasonable way to deal with all of life's vicissitudes.A person who has been exposed to spiritual philosophy will develop a more disciplined mind. This is because doctrine provides the basis for logical application to all situations in life. Not only does doctrine give the mind a systematic logic, but it also provides the most logical answers and reasons in the application of the circumstances of life. We believe that man's mind is corrupted and not able to think logically as a natural result of being blinded in his imagination to the logical truth in self reflection. There is a strong correlation between a man's self-perception and his life path. If a man believes that he is responsible for his own salvation and does not believe that God is the only one who can save children, then he will likely place a high importance on his own abilities and try to do everything he can on his own to save them. If, on the other hand, a man believes that God is the only one who can save children, then he will likely approach the task with humility and trust in God's abilities.
