.The Abrahamic Covenant was an act of God's grace, in which He promised to bless Abraham and his descendants. He walked between the sacrificial animals alone, as a sign that He would be the one to provide for His people. This covenant is a picture of God's provision for His people, and His desire to be glorified as God. It is seen in the old testament worship book, which teaches about salvation. God provided all that Israel would need to prosper. He not only provided what they needed to be successful in this covenant relationship, but He also worked to accomplish everything that was necessary for them to prosper. This covenant is a two-way street, with God providing everything His people need to prosper and being successful in the relationship, and His people working hard to uphold their end of the bargain. It is essential for us to understand that our belief is necessary in order to receive all that God has accomplished. However, we cannot believe without Him first providing us with the assurance that He alone is our righteousness. He gives us this assurance through His word, which is implanted in us by His grace. This grace gives us the assurance to seek Him, and His followers will swear by Him because of His promise to keep His word. He provides us with the one thing we all crave- hope- and He makes it possible for us to find Him.The desire for a unified existence is something that is very deep and complex, similar to the vastness of the oceans. It is something that is beyond our ability to fully understand. This desire is so complex that it involves a unified existence within us as Christ works within us to will and do with all of creation. We live in the present moment and appreciate the beauty of life, knowing that everything is part of a larger, mysterious plan. This one desire motivates our natural human desires, because it makes us want to glorify God in all our actions. It is God working within us, restoring everything we lose.God is attentive to the needs of even the smallest creatures, and knows our innermost thoughts and feelings. We are completely dependent on God, who expands our understanding of Him beyond what we could ever achieve on our own. Just as He spoke and creation came into existence, so also God has implanted the spoken word of life within us. Just as He raised Lazarus from the dead by calling him forth, so He calls us to a new resurrection. We experience the power of His resurrection in a timeless fashion. This is our one desire.
