Believers learn from the Old Testament Bible how God loves them and has a plan for their lives. The Wisdom book is a set of instruction manuals written by God Himself, which provide authoritative guidance on how to live a good life. All of the words in the Old Testament were placed in chronological order by God, and this order is essential to understanding the story. Because God controls the flow of time, the order of the Old Testament is important for understanding the history of Israel and the redemption that God has planned for humanity. The prophets were the ministers of God's covenant, who preached to God's people through the Abrahamic covenant, which guaranteed blessings for those who bless others and curses for those who curse others. This covenant was not given to all of Israel, but was found in the worship book that the prophets used.The worship book was given to the Israelites as part of a covenant relationship with God. It was meant to help them understand the vast magnificence and glory of God, as well as His covenant relationship with them. God was pleased with the temple that was built on Mount Zion, but He also gave them a revelation beyond the earthly temple. This revelation was in the form of words, and it showed the people how to enjoy salvation by faith. The ceremonial law was meant to be a burden to the Israelites, but they benefited from it by looking back on it with gratitude.The law created a longing in the hearts of the people for the coming of the Redeemer, who would save them from all of their troubles. They turned away from the law in search of God's grace, which they saw as a more realistic way to understand him. Regardless of a person's administration, the love-hate relationship between God's law and grace never changes because salvation is ultimately a matter of God's mercy, not our own efforts. It transcends time and space, residing within us as a kingdom.
