The world is not static, but rather is shaped by our individual perspectives. Our relationships with others are based on our own perception of them, which may not be accurate. We often hold ourselves back due to our own doubts and insecurities. Our understanding of ourselves is often flawed, leading to deception. Change is only possible when we accept that things may not be as we thought they were. There is no security in ignorance – it is better to face the truth, even if it is uncomfortable. The people we surround ourselves with are often just figments of our imagination, rather than real, supportive friends. It is not realistic to expect that we will always find tension or conflict in the world around us. However, these tensions can be seen as forces that exist in our imaginations, representing what we perceive as real opposition. How can we be confident in our own thinking? How can we be confident that we are seeing things that are actually real, and not just products of our imagination? We can only find certainty in knowing that we do not have the ability to be dogmatic about what is real in the world. This is why a sense of the eternal is all mystery. Because we only find reality in God. To understand ourselves, we must disassemble our own pre-conceived ideas about reality in order to translate what we are by what is said about us by someone who knows us better than we know ourselves in the present new experience. This is why inability is wisdom.
