He wants to give us a set of steps to follow in order to heal. However, that is not how we operate. We live by faith alone in Christ alone. Our task is not to become wise in the ways of the world or in the eyes of others, but to learn how to access all of God's promises and gifts to us by hearing Him in His Word. We do everything within our power to maintain our own view of reality, despite being surrounded by those who live in the world with its riches and pleasures.Although the things that happen to us and the events we experience may not necessarily dictate the course of our lives, they can certainly add to the joy and fulfillment we get from glorifying and enjoying God. Our lives are not defined by the material possessions we have or the number of friends we have, but rather by our character and who we are as people. This world is transitory and temporary, and the systems and structures we have in place to protect us from harm are not ultimately going to save us.It is important to question the status quo and consider how things were in the past. There was a time when things were simpler and people were more reliant on God. However, with the advances in science, people have started to rely on this knowledge more and more. Some people believe that this scientific knowledge has led to a fundamental change in the way people think. It is important to consider why this change has occurred and whether or not it is beneficial. We seek to bring our thoughts and minds into captivity, focusing on eternal things rather than the temporary things of this world. Only when we have found God can we find true peace. The gospel takes us back to a simpler time, when we can hear the simple voice of God's deliverance. It allows us to clear our minds of distractions so that we can experience our own individual gifts, imaginations, and pleasures. We are not connected to other people in a direct way, but only to our own patterns of thinking.Although the people we know and our personal goals may seem important, they are not nearly as important as God. He is the one who teaches us how to communicate effectively. Instead of worrying about what other people think or what we want, we should focus on listening to God and following His plan for us. This world's religious system has failed us by not teaching us how to live in harmony with each other. We need to break away from that system and start living according to what God wants for us.Now we must fight for what is right and good. We must find the pleasure and joy in our own minds, instead of letting others tell us who we are. Start being true to your own feelings and thoughts, and take responsibility for your own spiritual growth. Quit committing mental suicide by letting others tell you what to think. You are responsible for your own spiritual development. No one else is to blame if you do not know something.
