David humanely spoke of his well-being in deep terms, in which he felt holistically connected to divine categorical intentions. And you will see that this is often a rather poetic new expression for carefully pouring out one's aching heart to God. It was absolutely not just a request to God, but David wanted to speak to God face to face. Have you ever prayed in a most authoritative way? "Oh God, don't hide your face from me.“Your “well-being” depends decisively on this. For you are my Savior!” You see those Fatherly words, left over from a child who was abandoned by a father. “Do not forsake or reject me, OH God my Redeemer!"You see this stern demand from the desperate plea, it's over just desiring this rare favor from God. No, this is a desperate request for David to experience healing and an important partnership for talented people and each and every one of divine creation. This is often a plea for us to experience something healthy we cannot control. In this earnest plea, we quickly realize that sincere pleading lacks the emotional depth. And that comes naturally with the form in which we tend to understand the method of positively receiving this mysterious metaphysical association with the divine pleasure that God ordinarily receives from His wondrous creation. This energetic pleasure is like deep calling to deep. The best pleasure weight is like a hole for running water, and going deeper we get to the running spring. The flowing water immediately begins to rise from the deep well. Thus, once David has attained a fuller understanding of this mysterious weight of God, he is consumed with the joy of demanding a face-to-face encounter in the holy mystery. I may defend it satisfactorily that way. I fondly remember the classic film An Officer and a Gentleman, when Geer illegally collected some military clothes and a buckle, and his commander-in-charge found out. The next scene when he was confronted by the effective commander asks Geer to write the official letter of resignation. The commander would say, "I wish your DOR and Geer would yell back 'No' in a most desperate plea and also the eternal commander himself 'I want your DOR' and as soon as they start pacing Geer finally snaps and yells 'Me , I have nowhere else to go!” At that polar point, not only does he warmly return to his barricks, but the stolen things are in his locked locker as a generous gift, and that is often God’s way. He answers our prayer but doesn't fire our DOR. He meticulously leads us to those desperate pleas for something too good that we tend never to win.
