David talked about his well-being in a way that showed he felt connected to the divine principles that govern everything. When you pray, you will see that this expression means talking to God carefully and honestly. David really wanted to talk to God, not just through prayer. Have you ever prayed in a way that made you feel like you had a lot of power to help change things? "God, please don't hide from me. I need to see you." Your welfare depends on it. I know that you will always be there for me, just like my own fathers were for me. "Don't forget me, God who has chosen to be my Redeemer". He sees that you are begging for help and I am demanding it. He only want what is best for you and He believe that this is what you need. David needs help to feel better and have a good partnership with all of God's creation. We want you to have a healthy experience, but we can't always control what happens. We want to make sure that our plea is as heartfelt as possible. Unfortunately, we don't have enough emotion in it yet. When we think of God enjoying His creation, we often think of Him enjoying some kind of wonderful, spiritual pleasure. And that pleasure often feels like it comes from some kind of deep connection with us. The best pleasure is like digging hole in the ground that leads to a running stream. Going deeper into the hole takes you to the running stream itself. The water in the well starts to birst out as soon as it is reached. David understands that there is a special weightiness to God's presence, and he begins to yearn for a personal encounter with Him. This makes him very happy. I'll try to explain it in a way that makes sense to you. In the classic movie An Officer and a Gentleman Greer was very sneaky and he found some military clothes and a buckle while he was on duty. His commander-in-charge found out and punished him. The next scene when he faces the effective leader asks Greer to write the official letter of resignation. The commander says "I want your Dor and Greer yells again" no " in the most desperate plea and also the commander himself 'I want Dor' and as soon as he breaks , Greer finally settles down and screams 'me, I have nowhere else to go!"At that pivitol point, the following scene, not only does he warmly Go back to his barricks, but stolen things are in his locker as a generous gift, this is often God's way. Our prayer was answered, but God didn't do anything. He takes us to the most desperate pleas for something we never seem to be able to win.
