We are not aware of our spiritual condition because we don't stop to grieve over sin. We spend too much time on our own thoughts and feelings and do not spend time with God.  We should give God glory in all of our lives, mainly because we should always want to be in His presence, always want to hear from Him, and always want Him to make us better.  We find satisfaction with the work of his hands in the complex circumstances of our lives. We want God to love us with His love. We sincerely want to feel special for Him.  God's favor is like a heavy rain shower, and when we feel it, we know we're safe. When we long for His favor at the throne, we ask for His special presence.  There is always room for friendship in our lives.  Our repetitive tasks have nothing to do with being bored. It is learning to rest by knowing that God is faithful.  We should be in charge of our home and family, not always at their mercy.
