Ps 36 10 Continue your love to those who know you,

your righteousness to the upright in heart.

11 May the foot of the proud not come against me,

nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.

12 See how the evildoers lie fallen-

thrown down, not able to rise! "

This Psalm is teaching that the world is Gods kingdom. Gods kingdom is successful because God judges everything according to life and death. Gods elect are caught in a war between God and Satan. Satan is the father of the wicked.

God has created all things in order to give His elect the ultimate freedom in ruling over and enjoying His creation. He has united His sovereign power in overcoming all opposition to His creation so that His elect are free from being in bondage to the threats of Satan and His children. In giving us salvation, we enter into this relationship by grace. In this new kingdom we enjoy His protection in blessing, all that we are and all that we have are a gift from God, and cursing , which everything that opposes Gods kingdom is under the power of death and destruction. We have unlimited power to rule in this kingdom by the pronouncements of blessing and cursing.

This Psalm is teaching that we are related to God as His children who dwell in His house. We as His children have no power to take these gifts of the blessing and define them according to our understanding. Nor do we have the power to overcome Satan and the wicked. The way that we rule is to speak the pronouncements in reordering the world according to Gods view. We are unable to define the world apart from Gods pronouncements.

The Psalmist is pronouncing this Psalm as an oracle. The Psalmist is Gods ambassador pronouncing the reordering of kingdom of God. We must understand that when we define the world according to our view or our natural way of thinking it is always defined downward. We bring God down and give Satan and the wicked imagery powers. We do not live in a world that mixed with good and bad. But there is a line between cursing and blessing , worse than we could ever imagine or more beautiful than we could ever fathom that is enforced by the pronouncements. All reality is judged by life and death. Gods word defines all reality.

Everything that we believe is founded upon words. All of our thoughts and our actions are communications. We think according to our definition of the world and we act out our story. Our definition is a prophecy of our future. What we believe about ourselves and what we believe is our future is our prophecy. When we receive Gods salvation we enter the world of a prophecy that is too good to imagine. In Gods world the bad prophecy is worse than we could imagine..so bad that we could not create the reality of it. And the good prophecy is so beautiful that we could not rise to the appreciation of the free enjoyment of Gods gifts.When we blur this line we create disorder in Gods world.

The Psalmist reorders his entire view in order to become Gods prophet. Because no man can prophecy if he is not trained in Gods pronouncements. This oracle is spoken to reorder the world according to Gods view. We can say that the good prophet rises behind the pronouncements of Gods blessing through creation and sinks behind Gods curses end the destructive activity in Gods world. In following the pronouncements he reorders his view and creates a world that is ordered. 1 An oracle is within my heart
