There is no fundamental fault in making plans; however, it is ultimately God who determines the final outcome. When His divine will establishes what will happen—whether it leads to eternal life or eternal death—the entire world will be gathered before His throne of judgment. At that moment, whatever He declares will stand forever and cannot be overturned. We can trust that every event has been arranged according to His all-knowing wisdom, for He, as the supreme Judge, does not need to be reminded of individual histories or past actions. If He were anything less than omniscient, we might be able to manipulate or hide from His judgment. But because God is perfectly just and all-knowing, He causes everyone to be silent before Him. Who can endure His judgment if He judged us solely based on our sins? How could anyone withstand the scrutiny if He were unaware of the depths of every transgression—if He did not fully know all the sins committed throughout history? We are grateful that we serve a divine Being who perceives everything from beginning to end, who intimately understands all things. He sustains every creature with His power, providing for all in His providence. From eternity’s perspective, our lives began when He called us into existence; therefore, our past sins are not held against us, because they have been already atoned for in eternity. Time itself does not trap us in guilt or shame—we have been set free from its constraints. Now, we stand in the realm of eternity, before God’s all-seeing eyes. Our understanding surpasses just the past or future; in this divine view, our life experiences are part of our eternal standing. Our past is no longer a record of condemnation, for we are continually called into a new reality rooted in eternity. We are connected to the divine Word spoken by the Father before creation; we hear His voice as if He is directly speaking to us, in words we can hear with our earthly ears. Our grasp of the present and our plans for the future depend on how well we listen to His call—drawing us into fellowship with the Spirit and elevating us above worldly concerns to the heavenly kingdom where His providence sustains us. The future He has prepared for us surpasses anything we can imagine. We see His goodness in how He has carefully woven the universe together—how He cares for even the tiniest particles—so much more must He care for us, His beloved children, chosen from eternity past. The blessings awaiting us are beyond our understanding, far greater than anything this life can offer. Therefore, our current suffering or successes are only a small glimpse compared to the eternal knowledge we will gain as our relationship with Him continues to deepen forever.
