God has clearly spoken, affirming that all Scripture is divinely inspired and beneficial for guiding us. However, some people believe that the advantages of God's Word depend on human effort—that it only produces fruit if we cooperate with it. But the Creator is not a passive observer sitting on His throne, watching events unfold randomly. Instead, He rules from heaven with complete sovereignty, speaking with absolute authority. When God speaks, His words are not empty; they are decrees that accomplish everything He desires—laws, promises, statutes, curses, and blessings. The curses serve a divine purpose: to weaken and dismantle the wicked’s plans and desires, while blessings establish and confirm the righteous’s pursuits and endeavors. How does God bring success or destruction into the world? It is through His creative and authoritative Word. By cursing the wicked's way, He opposes their evil intentions, and by blessing the righteous, He affirms their pursuit of goodness. This divine opposition is manifested through curses that target the wicked’s paths, while blessings are bestowed upon the righteous to prosper them. Conversely, the wicked also curse the righteous and sometimes even curse God Himself, which prompts God to act decisively against their wickedness. In biblical times, the psalmist’s battles symbolized a larger spiritual conflict—God’s ongoing fight to uphold His righteous cause and to put an end to those who oppose His purposes. The divine reason behind fighting the wicked is rooted in their desire to destroy the righteous and, in doing so, to thwart God's overall plan. Within divine justice, the concept of punishment—expressed through curses—is an absolute truth. Humanity exists within two fundamental paradigms: living under the curse or living under blessing. A profound question emerges—how can divine punishment, which involves suffering, ultimately serve as a form of blessing? And if God curses all who falsely accuse, how can innocent people be subjected to punishment? Every life conflict contains a deeper underlying reality: the ongoing spiritual battle against everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Human efforts—such as discipline and strategy—are insufficient to resolve these opposing forces. Only God has the authority to decide life and death—either showing mercy or executing judgment. The final and ultimate solution lies in the final judgment, which God’s perspective sees as already determined; His curses are final and irrevocable. Throughout history, those who walk in righteousness continually experience God’s blessing, reaffirming that divine favor is reserved for those who live according to His righteousness and truth.
