I am convinced that His divine intention behind this profound identification was to create a world in which every soul fits together like the intricate pieces of a divine puzzle. In His flawless holiness, Jesus needed to understand our weaknesses and vulnerabilities firsthand—so that we could see ourselves clearly and embrace our true identity. From His perspective—pure, spotless, and unblemished—He shapes our sense of self. To genuinely identify with us, Jesus had to step into our very skin—yet at the same time, He also surpassed the limitations of human personality. He embraced the full range of human experience without being bound by it, adopting a perfect personality—one that extends beyond Himself to fully comprehend each individual's natural tendencies, inclinations, and struggles. When Jesus walked among us, He demonstrated ideal reactions and spoke perfect words—each rooted in His deep understanding of our true nature and inner selves. As the Apostle Paul reminds us in Colossians, He sustains all things—holding the entire creation together from before the beginning of time. In His eternal purpose, He designed us with unique identities that would facilitate His perfect work of creation, redemption, and renewal. Looking at Jesus’ life, we see a flawless example of this profound identification. He possessed an extraordinary capacity to truly know each person—reading hearts, sharing in their experiences, and understanding the struggles that shape us. Jesus was the perfect human—serving as the ultimate mediator—who, out of love, fully immersed Himself in the wickedness and suffering of humanity, feeling it as if it were His own. At its core, personality is simply our lens on the world—how we perceive it and respond instinctively. Each individual is blessed with a distinct personality, composed of subtle combinations of traits—lesser selves—that are natural to others. The unique personality of someone else is only a fragment, a shadow of the broader, divine essence that also dwells within us all. This divine harmony is beautifully expressed in the Psalms. Through them, Jesus offers us the experience of a perfect man—one not limited by a single personality, but capable of expressing the entire spectrum of human emotion in harmony with divine power. When we engage with the Psalms, we step into a spiritual realm—a battleground where limited human feelings clash with the expansive freedom of divine love. In this space, we encounter the mysterious, profound feelings of Jesus—emotions that transcend human understanding yet draw us closer to His perfect, unifying vision. Within Jesus, we glimpse this inner life—His emotional responses, His reactions to events, His ability to rise above the confines of human labels—shaping and molding the world through His divine perspective. He reimagines and recreates circumstances, shaping people and events to reflect His perfect harmony, where all parts fit together as intended in the divine design.
