The wrath of God has been diverted from us, as any transgression of His divine law necessitates a decree of death. God possesses an exhaustive record of all sins and imperfections. In His omniscience, He cannot ignore any breach of His statutes. His Word calls for complete and unwavering obedience. Therefore, we can deduce that every individual who has ever been born is burdened with a curse of death and destruction. It is crucial to recognize God as a judge who embodies perfect justice; otherwise, humanity would be subjected to an overwhelming and incomprehensible force of devastation. We must come to see God as the sole source of faithfulness, kindness, patience, and justice. To truly experience the delight of God, we need to shift our gaze away from ourselves and instead focus on Him as a God who honors His covenant. This perspective highlights that His act of recreation is anchored in His promises made through covenant. God substantiates all of His revealed words by making Himself liable to consequences if He fails to uphold His covenant commitments. We can confidently assert that God’s word carries the ultimate authority, much like a judge renders a final verdict. This understanding means that our lives do not rest within our own capabilities but are sustained by God's authoritative Word. We cannot place our trust in our own righteousness; instead, we must rely solely on God’s declarations. He determines what is true about us, and we come to know ourselves through His lens. Regardless of how far we may have fallen or how grave our sins may be, we are no longer under the dominion of the curse of sin. Christ has triumphed over this curse independently of our actions. Our standing—whether we rise or fall—depends entirely on His strength. Our identity is consistently defined by Him, rather than by our circumstances or situations. Since every person is tainted by sin, God must orchestrate all events to ultimately yield good within Himself. This divine orchestration occurs through both creation and recreation. God not only brings forth existence but also arranges everything to foster goodness and to manifest His absolute justice and righteousness in His governance. Our connection to true goodness is established when we realize that the bedrock of our trust lies in His act of recreation, rather than in our own will or efforts.
