Experiencing a consuming addiction can provide individuals with profound insights and understanding. This intense desperation may compel individuals to turn to Gods sovereign power for comfort, or alternatively, push them towards self-destructive actions, potentially resulting in mortality. During moments of deep despair, individuals may perceive a sense of divine guidance and assistance as they strive for inner peace and reclamation. The overarching objective of God is not to bar individuals from entrance to Heaven, but rather to embrace and incorporate as many individuals as feasible into His divine kinship. While He possesses the ability to eliminate those ensnared by sinful behavior, He opts to provide them with numerous opportunities to pursue spiritual enlightenment and fortify their relationship with Him by adhering to the 12 essential principles of the Path. It is imperative to acknowledge that only through the intervention of Christ can individuals undergo profound healing and personal transformation, rather than through their own endeavors.

It is evident that our society is experiencing a decline, leading many to believe that only divine intervention from God can bring about true change. Personally, I have sought solace in God without attributing any inherent worthiness to myself. I do not presume to act as a mouthpiece for God in determining the fate of individuals. Through divine intervention, God has the ability to transmute my deepest animosities into compassion. If He can assist me in managing my own anger and refraining from projecting it onto others, then surely He can aid others in overcoming their struggles with alcohol. Rather than relying solely on our own perceptions, it is imperative to trust in the teachings of God, as He possesses the capability to dispel even our most profound uncertainties.
