At the age of 7, I was introduced to the gospel by my mother and subsequently baptized at Riverside Baptist Church. She possessed a remarkable gift for evangelism, consistently sharing her faith which has had a positive impact on my siblings and me. Despite challenges within our family, we have overcome them and I had the privilege of spending quality time with my mother in her final years. She was a resilient and socially adept individual who excelled in fostering strong relationships. In her marriage, she exhibited unparalleled submission to my father. As a Newton, she displayed intelligence and talent, and she faced death with unmatched courage. While I will miss her dearly, I find comfort in the belief that we will be reunited in heaven.
