It is not a matter of strength versus weakness. God's judgments are always just and righteous, utilizing both the weak and the strong. In God's perspective, weakness is esteemed and used for a greater purpose. However, I do not believe that God makes us weak for harmful intentions; rather, it is for our protection. He challenges the root causes of our weakness and provides us with the means to overcome it. We cannot simply accept our weaknesses, but must rely on grace to not only endure them but also to turn them into strengths. Instead of avoiding negativity to become stronger, we must rely on God's teachings to conquer adversity.
The comparison of struggling with weakness to wrestling is apt. Just as a skilled wrestler can pin their opponent by efficiently defending themselves and strategically maneuvering their body, our ability to defend ourselves is not passive. It involves positioning ourselves in a way that allows us to overcome our challenges. If we believe that God works everything for good, then His declarations are just and come from a position of ultimate authority. When we are unable to defend ourselves, we are furthest from aligning with God's absolute truths.
It is essential to recognize that our societal roles hold little significance when compared to the unity of purpose that can be found in aligning ourselves with God's absolute pronouncements. True unity can only be achieved by understanding and following what God has ordained for us and our society. I do not believe in confining ourselves within boundaries set by God, as I believe His communication extends beyond scripture to encompass the intricate workings of all things. Everything that exists or changes does so because of God's perfect understanding and justice. His general proclamations serve as petitions that guide us in His mysterious language, ultimately for our protection and survival rather than His own benefit. By adhering to the blessings and curses outlined by God, both the weak and the strong will find their place in the world. God surpasses our limited human experience and empowers us to navigate our environment without solely relying on rules for control.
