Humans are inherently social beings, designed to engage in shared experiences and vulnerabilities that are universal. Rather than solely focusing on understanding others by analyzing their experiences, true connection is found in recognizing and embracing the common traits within ourselves. Developing empathy and understanding for others begins with gaining insight into our own selves.
It is akin to immersing oneself in the beauty of nature, being captivated by its vivid colors and delightful scents. However, comparing this experience to the complexities of the soul's inner workings is oversimplified. The functioning of simple organisms is more aligned with nature's colors, whereas we, as humans, are meant to integrate our gifts in a holistic way that involves body, mind, and will. Our limitation lies not in a lack of vision, but in holding onto anger that inhibits our ability to fully connect with others. By learning to communicate with God authentically, we can release this burden and experience a heightened sense of connection with those around us.
