We often mistake punishment for the challenges we face in the world. Our initial inclination is to heed the guidance of the counselor voice, or the voice of post scientific discoveries and studies. By post scientific communication, I am referring to the shift away from referencing specific studies. In the 1970s, a novel approach to understanding relationships emerged in the social sciences, which was gaining popularity. I vividly recall the notion that by observing animal behavior, as described in a particular paper, we could gain valuable insights into marital issues. However, this perspective has now become so deeply rooted in our culture that we unquestioningly accept new relationship communication as the ultimate truth. I refer to this phenomenon as the counselor voice.

The believer recognizes that God orchestrates all events for a positive outcome. It is a partnership between our efforts and God's intervention. We must acknowledge our complete reliance on God as the underlying principle of the second commandment. Any other gods are merely a product of human analysis and understanding. Our relationships are based on earthly matters, but all challenges should be entrusted to God for resolution. Our success and rewards are solely dependent on God. When we veer off course in communication, we invite unnecessary difficulties from the world's systems.

When interacting with individuals from a post-scientific culture, it becomes apparent that we do not share the same mindset. While we find solace in the belief that God will resolve any concerns, they hold the belief that individuals are accountable for their actions. This discrepancy evokes a sense of fear in us, as we perceive ourselves as being inadequate. Our religious doctrine provides a sense of tranquility and comfort, whereas their reliance on scientific methods leads to feelings of anxiety, remorse, and a deterministic approach to counseling. They argue that the experiences of men and women necessitate behavioral change, supported by scientific studies. In contrast, we maintain that only God possesses the power to rectify any dire circumstances, regardless of their severity.

It is imperative that we adhere to the principles outlined in the Bible and refrain from assuming that our own understanding surpasses divine wisdom. False teachings often stem from self-centered thoughts influenced by worldly perspectives, rather than recognizing God as the ultimate authority. Our personal struggles do not cause our relational challenges, but rather shape our identity in society. We exist in the presence of a sacred deity who possesses a deeper knowledge of us than we do of ourselves. Seeking solace in earthly relationships will not alleviate our sorrows; true solace can only be found in communing with God and applying the wisdom instilled in us from a young age. Our connection with God should encompass a comprehensive understanding of our being and a response to the divine presence in our lives. It is crucial to learn how to release our burdens to God and find peace and dependency on Him, or else we will seek acceptance and healing in all the wrong places. These insights have been gleaned through years of introspection and study of wise literature.
