Now here's the exciting part: all of this has already taken place! We no longer need to repeatedly go through the process of meeting Christ for the first time. We already know Him! With this understanding, all we are required to do is express gratitude for this incredible gift. When we constantly revisit our past doubts, it implies that we lack faith in His ability to accomplish this transformation within us. We need to trust in His work and express our gratitude continuously, both day and night, for such an amazing gift. The second important aspect to consider is that salvation is God's word sealed with His blood, providing us with unwavering assurance in any circumstance. It is a covenant of His eternal love for us. Our role is to align ourselves with this truth and declare throughout our lives that He will always be faithful to us, from now until eternity. We are essentially pronouncing, "May you continue to be faithful to me," and responding with an "amen." We proclaim His promises over our lives, for what we think influences what we say, and what we say shapes our actions. Both of these prayers reflect our ongoing trust and belief in Him. I have acquired some knowledge that may be beneficial to you. If you have placed your trust in Christ, it is evident through your concern that you may have doubts about truly knowing Him. However, it is not wise to constantly dwell in a state of uncertainty, wavering between the assurance of salvation and the fear of not being saved. Our salvation does not involve circular thinking. Firstly, the certainty of our salvation is rooted in our thought processes. Then, it encompasses our emotions and attitudes. Finally, it is expressed through our confession of faith. When we initially confessed our desire to be saved, we acknowledged that Jesus is all we need in this life. By verbalizing this, all the other aspects of salvation became deeply personal to us. Our perspective on life changed completely. Our hearts were transformed, and we were cleansed and forgiven of our sins. We received new life, causing us to view everything important to us through the lens of Christ's sacrifice on the cross. We received His life in exchange for ours, and His righteousness replaced our sins.
