An issue arises when we attempt to separate our righteousness from God's, leaving us without a solution. Can a Christian be simultaneously righteous and unrighteous? This matter has become a verbal contest, depending on which side one aligns with in the ongoing debate on grace. Is it possible to find merit in acknowledging the opposing viewpoint as a comprehensive list that accommodates all perspectives? Or should we strive to harmonize our beliefs, starting from a common point A and reaching a unified point B in terms of doctrine? We err greatly when we adopt a philosophy rooted in the concept of cause and effect, known as the system of reaping and sowing. This tendency is prevalent in the Christian culture, as we often strive to appear wise by distinguishing our righteousness from that of God. Consequently, we find ourselves torn between deserving punishment and defending God's justice, which may seem altruistic in championing His ways for our own punishment.
