 It appears that there may have been a misunderstanding in my previous statement. What I meant to convey is that the issue of sin has already been addressed through the sacrifice made at the cross, and no additional atonement is required. The distinction lies in interpreting the national message versus the personal message to the chosen individuals, which helps to clarify the concept of repentance in Christianity. By examining the Old Testament word usage within its appropriate context, I aim to remain consistent in my argument against a contradictory approach. It is important to recognize that God's actions are not contradictory; He does not give and then take away in a conflicting manner.
