The act of teaching in the present day involves two distinct aspects. One aspect is uncertain and symbolizes the mysterious plan of God's  power, while the other aspect is certain and pertains to our own actions. However, if our actions are misguided, it would require divine intervention for us to comply. Yet, if God's  power is truly all-powerful, our efforts to resist His will would be futile. Thus, we are faced with a perplexing contradiction.

It is ingrained in our teachings that God graciously provides all that we require and has already achieved the necessary work for our success. The intricacies of scripture illustrate that not even our transgressions can impede His divine plan. This distinction is crucial. If God is consistently triumphant, then we can have confidence that He is continually revitalizing us, despite our ongoing battle with recurring sin.

This implies that we can find a sense of security and fulfillment by recognizing the significance of Christ's sacrificial work and embracing our own flawed nature as the foundation of our reliance upon Him. Our assurance stems from placing our faith in His unwavering covenant promises, as we consciously reject the grip of sin by acknowledging His exclusive role in our transformation. As we surrender our own strength to His impeccable work, we make strides in personal growth, ultimately leading to liberation from the clutches of sin. In this state of surrender, we find solace and a genuine sense of deliverance, as we no longer engage in futile struggles.
