The ability to reshape our thoughts and find inner peace is a gift bestowed upon us by our Creators power. The Spirit desires for us to feel secure and at ease in our relationships, leaving behind feelings of anxiety, guilt, fear, and sorrow. To achieve this, God has chosen us even before we faced the hardships of our childhood. By surpassing our past experiences, the Spirit's power aims to reverse the effects of these experiences by assuring us of the success in establishing a relationship with us since ancient times. In essence, this Spirit's ability to recreate surpasses the power of our memories. Therefore, we find healing in the present by understanding that this power forgets all of our past wrongdoings, as promised in their written word. This constant reminder, not only to ourselves but also to this higher power, serves as a deeply personal plea for them to remember us. When we ask the Father to remember us, we are seeking His assistance in experiencing kindness, love, faithfulness, patience, and protection over the wounds that have affected our souls and left lasting marks.
Jesus desires for us to perceive His presence with us instead of feeling abandoned to deal with the pain of our past wounds on our own. To facilitate this, He has provided us with the Psalms, which encapsulate the range of emotions and experiences that a person encounters deep within their soul. In these Psalms, Jesus speaks to us as the compassionate shepherd of our innermost being. He assumes the role of our spiritual healer, using the Psalms to impart His teachings and draw closer to us. Through His promises and instructions to seek Him for our needs, He establishes a connection with us and instills in us a sense of self-assurance. By attentively listening to and responding to our fervent pleas as expressed in the Psalms, He nurtures our confidence in Him. Remarkably, Jesus influences and transforms our emotions in ways that may defy logical comprehension, bringing about a profound change within us.
