Men have a tendency to disregard history in order to establish their own dominance and authority over others. They neglect to acknowledge the divine interventions that have occurred throughout history, as they are driven by the desire to forge a new path towards power and influence. They are drawn to positions of wealth and prestige, constantly yearning to be the ones in control. This infatuation with power stems from a self-centered perspective, disregarding the fact that God despises arrogance. Men fail to recognize the impropriety of boasting about their own abilities, and instead exploit and manipulate others to attain their desired power. However, God asserts that human power holds no true value. He has revealed Himself throughout history to remind mankind that true godliness does not lie in strength and authority, but rather in recognizing one's insignificance in this world. God's ways consistently humble and challenge human thinking.
As individuals climb higher on the social ladder, they tend to take things for granted and become oblivious to the consequences of their actions. They fail to acknowledge the presence of a higher power and instead focus on their own self-righteousness. This mentality often leads to a disregard for the less fortunate and an overemphasis on personal achievements. Those who prioritize their own power and status often create a false idol out of themselves, neglecting the importance of humility. In contrast, true spirituality involves recognizing the needs of the oppressed and constantly seeking divine guidance. Unfortunately, those in positions of power often prioritize their own image and use their authority as a means to boast rather than advocate for those in need. They wrongly believe that their position is solely a result of their own efforts, failing to recognize the role of divine authority. This oppressive mindset stems from the belief that authority demands blind obedience. However, it is essential to understand that all human thoughts are ultimately futile and that no one can escape divine scrutiny. Therefore, true authority lies in recognizing our own vulnerability and humbly guiding others towards the source of sustenance. Unfortunately, many individuals place more trust in their own abilities to change people rather than acknowledging that true transformation comes from a loving Father. They take pride in their deceit and refuse to humbly acknowledge their own limitations for the greater glory of God.
