God's eternal covenant of grace, bestowed upon the saints, is seemingly founded on His own work and will. The story of redemption is God's precious gift to His Son, who must rightfully place all things under His authority. God's disdainful attitude towards sin and the destruction it brings, as well as righteousness, can be compared to a scale weighing the immense value of Christ's work on one side and the judgment of sin on the other. God consistently marks every instance of destruction and evil, which collectively contribute to the significant weight of accurate judgment He delivers upon the wicked. Nothing occurs in this world that is beyond God's control and evaluation. The judgments of God, which have existed since before the world began, are written as authoritative pronouncements of curses. Every declaration made by God is completely successful because it is fully satisfied within Himself. The Psalmist's plea to God for effective relief graciously, according to His Name, means that the Psalmist is seeking help from God as the only source of true relief. Help us, O God our Savior, for the glory of your name.
At all times, the curses imposed by God serve as judgments that He officially imparts to the wicked, surpassing our ability to fully comprehend them. God's justice is the ultimate fulfillment of receiving the appropriate consequences for sin and extensive destruction, in accordance with the eternal value of Christ's active obedience and control. While humans may maintain a system of arbitrary justice, God's vengeful response is far more severe. When we utter these dreadful curses, they are manifestations of God's perfect justice and fearful retribution, based on His eternal judgment enacted through His eternal decrees. At every moment, God is fully satisfied with the fierce curse as the legitimate outcome of sin and destruction. This satisfaction stems from His eternal counsel and the continuous history of His decrees. These pronouncements echo from eternity past to eternity future, signifying God's final judgment and divine vengeance. This understanding is of utmost importance as it inevitably alters our future happiness in heaven. We will be accepted and valued to such an extent that we will be astonished by the intensified suffering we endured on earth.
