Consequently, individuals continually evaluate their actions using a system of checks and balances to gauge their own righteousness or wrongdoing. This explains why individuals gravitate towards seeking comfort, accumulating savings, and adhering to predictable routines. Men specifically rely on their personal fortitude and moral codes to cultivate a life of ease and security.The grace of God encompasses favor, generosity, and faithfulness. God consistently demonstrates his grace, even in the face of mankind's arrogance and self-satisfaction. The apostle Paul acknowledged that all his accomplishments in ministry were a result of God's grace. He attributed every action and achievement to the grace of God, recognizing that his very existence was made possible by it. Paul saw himself as an instrument for God's purposes and glory, willingly sacrificing his own well-being for the benefit of others. He endured hardships and trials, considering himself a testament to God's grace. Grace is not only demonstrated through selfless acts and generosity towards others, but also in God's constant communication and favor towards us. God's love for us is akin to that of a father to his favorite sons, treating us with grace regardless of our own merit. Our lives and well-being are not determined by our efforts to earn God's favor, but rather by our ability to fully embrace and experience his graciousness towards us. When we approach God as a loving and secure father, who keeps his promises and forgives us, we are able to authentically love others. This transformative assurance allows us to grow and flourish, as God provides everything we need and rewards us for sharing it with others.
