The covenant established by God with His people is a covenant rooted in love. As God is always in control and carries out His will without the need for approval or consensus, the fulfillment of the covenant's requirements is ultimately dependent on His faithfulness rather than human willingness. In human societies, the inability to fully meet the demands of the covenant arises from the failure of individuals to truly embody love within the community. To alleviate the burden of these unmet requirements, God introduced stipulations in the covenant, taking into account the diverse gifts and abilities of individuals. Through this, God's faithfulness is demonstrated as He oversees and orchestrates the various shortcomings of humanity in fulfilling the requirements of love. Thus, living by faith becomes essential in fostering a unified purpose despite the unfulfilled aspects of the covenant.in every society, God's sovereignty is manifest through secondary causes, despite the fact that humanity often fails to fully uphold their part of the covenant. God evaluates the intentions of the heart and the desires to fulfill the covenant, relying on a righteousness that surpasses conventional human justice. Therefore, a person's fidelity to the covenant is determined by their understanding of their connection to Christ, even if they are perceived as lacking faithfulness by others who have also broken the covenant. Without sin, there would be no need for Christ, and without Christ, there would be no hope for covenant faithfulness. Hence, our own ability is insufficient for faithfulness; we must rely on God, as we are unable to fulfill the requirements of love on our own. For a perfect community of covenant keepers to exist, all individuals would need to fully love God with all their heart, mind, and strength. However, no one has been able to meet these requirements. Therefore, we depend on the various provisions of grace within the community to prevent individuals from judging one another as covenant breakers.
