However, I believe that people often react negatively due to the misinterpretation or misapplication of the law. It is essential for us to understand God's standards in order to fully comprehend the significance of Christ's sacrifice for us. The entire relationship between the Law and the Covenant serves as a testament to Christ's presence among us. Within this framework, we are bestowed with commandments, promises, decrees, and statutes. These attributes of the law and covenants are exemplified through God's benevolence, compassion, loyalty, and unmerited favor.When confronted with the demands of the law, it becomes evident that we require a surrogate to ensure our salvation. The question then arises on how we can internalize and embody Christ's substitutionary work in order to experience His grace through a close relationship with Him. To fully comprehend this, we must grasp the legal prerequisites for an agreement. This is why a complete substitution is founded upon the benevolence, loyalty, benevolence, and graciousness of God, as opposed to any qualities within ourselves. In essence, our depiction of God elevates the law to its utmost significance, as it serves as the foundation of His steadfastness and devotion. This understanding instills confidence in our belief, as He upholds the law through His absolute holiness.If He demonstrates meticulousness in His actions, embodying the utmost comprehension of the law, then we can be assured that He serves as a complete substitute. This is due to our inability to fulfill our end of the agreement. By serving as a complete substitute, all of God's wrath towards transgressions of the law is redirected away from us. Therefore, our confidence in the redirection of God's anger is rooted in His unwavering commitment to always remain faithful. This is because He possesses absolute holiness, exemplifying a standard of righteousness that surpasses our comprehension. We can place our trust in His promises, as we are certain that He does not err. I believe this perspective strengthens our faith in the gospel by reinforcing the significance of the law. It is evident that we acknowledge our guilt, as we are naturally inclined towards this line of thinking.
