Self-reflection is the profound realization that our deepest desires align with the divine will. Consequently, our trust in God remains unwavering, rendering any opposition to our transformed selves as mere voices attempting to undermine our faith. We assert that faith constitutes the foundational essence of our spiritual essence, while distorted perceptions of our renewed identity manifest themselves through verbal expressions that are both uttered about us to others and internally generate disbelief in our own perception of this rebirthed image. The concept presented here is that our ultimate reality is shaped by what we truly desire. We firmly believe that the teachings of God represent our newfound aspiration. By embracing these teachings, we are able to attain our desires. We do not view our new desires as equivalent to our old ones, nor do we perceive any division within our inner selves. We are not obligated to showcase our desires as virtuous, nor do we strive to display humility in order to prove our lack of pride. As Christians, we understand that Jesus Christ serves as our new leader, and we do not need to combat any internal adversary in order for Christ to reign. Instead, we are already the dwelling place of God, and our desires stem from belonging to Christ's inward kingdom, where he reflects the image of God through Jesus Christ. We are entirely transformed. Our desires will not be hindered, while the desires of the wicked ultimately come to naught. Our battle is not primarily against our own desires, but rather against the desires of those who oppose us inwardly.
