If every man is considered a part of the plan of redemption through Christ's work on the cross, it would logically follow that every individual would believe in it. However, it is evident that this is not the case. Merely because a term like "all" or "everyone" is used does not necessarily imply the inclusion of every single person in the world. There are instances, such as the account of John the Baptist, where it would be physically impossible for every individual to participate. For instance, it is mentioned that everyone in the known Christian world came to John for baptism, but we can discern that this cannot be true based on the presence of the Pharisees who openly mocked John. Their presence alone indicates that the term "all" in this context does not encompass absolutely everyone.God possesses a longing, yet it is important to differentiate it from a comprehensive volition. Analogously to our human desires, God is not merely a mechanized entity. The Father, with an ardent affection, loves us. While God may have a yearning for all individuals to attain salvation, it does not necessarily align with His ultimate decree. The notion of "all men" could entail the dissemination of the gospel beyond the confines of Jerusalem, as expounded in the book of Acts. Progressing from local regions to encompassing areas and ultimately reaching the farthest corners of the earth. When the apostle asserts that salvation is intended for all men, it could signify the broadening scope of the gospel's reach to the ends of the earth. The translation of these phrases should be tailored to fit the specific cultural and contextual nuances of the intended audience, particularly if the author is addressing a particular religious group such as the Church of... In this context, the reference to "everyone" being saved would be limited to those within that specific group. It is important to note that not every individual is saved, which renders the inclusion of certain prepositions, verbs, and adjectives in the gospel text meaningless for those who do not hold the belief. Consequently, the universality of the grammar and the broader conceptual implications derived from other biblical passages would be compromised if such additions were made.
