Through the process of rebirth, we have undergone a profound metamorphosis and have emerged as new beings, no longer restricted by sin. Our baptism symbolizes our participation in the demise of Jesus and our subsequent rebirth into a fresh existence in Him. Through justification, His righteousness, exemplified through His actions and suffering, has been attributed to our own record, and we have been promptly reinstated to a revived life in Him. We have been legally pronounced righteous. Nonetheless, we continue to wrestle with sin due to the presence of the eternal law, as we frequently stumble in aligning our conduct with our innate yearnings.In the current state of affairs, righteousness triumphs over sin due to the repercussions enforced by the law. This is because Christ, having already confronted the consequences, has successfully conquered our inherent inclination towards wrongdoing. Nevertheless, we remain susceptible to sin, as if enticed by someone urging us towards immoral actions. The active force of everlasting consequences, opposing sin, effectively curbs its ruinous influence. We denounce sin to its demise through the power of sacred language and the Holy Spirit. By aligning ourselves with Christ, we become part of a realm governed by the Spirit's guidance, which graciously applies Christ's redemptive work for our purification. Through meditation, the Spirit skillfully directs our renewed spiritual yearnings, leading to the emergence of a refined and transformed version of ourselves.The majesty of Christ is understood through our celestial understanding. Through the constant renewal of our spirit by way of sacred texts, we undergo a profound transformation from one state of eternal splendor to another as we diligently witness the exemplary traits of Christ in a transcendent change.
