The notion of perfectionism is not endorsed by Biblical principles, particularly within the realm of human existence. Even if one were to pursue perfection, it would be an unachievable goal that would impede their capacity for complete submission. As articulated in scripture, "I do not do the good I want to do." Consequently, saints remain in a constant state of longing for wholeness, but are unable to achieve it.The significance of demonstrating patience and entrusting in God instead of depending on human intervention is a critical component. It is common for saints to face circumstances that require improvement, but any modifications must conform to God's desires, approaches, and timetable. Thus, waiting for God is a highly esteemed characteristic since solely God can direct us towards a spiritual renewal that emulates Christ, and the Holy Spirit is the only initiator for this transformation. The predicament does not arise from a lack of comprehension of appropriate courses of action, but rather from our proclivity to perceive ourselves as capable of leading a Christian life without divine assistance. It is crucial to comprehend the fundamental tenets of reformed doctrine. The only model of complete compliance with God is Jesus Christ. Accordingly, when seeking counsel from scripture, it is our aspiration to be absolved from sin, unfavorable circumstances, or troublesome associations, and we must depend on God's guidance with patience to attain spiritual advancement. It is not recommended to depend on human ideologies or the abilities of individuals in the role of a process designer. Our utmost confidence should solely be placed in the unchanging principles outlined in God's scripture, which are further elaborated on in the confessions. If we do not adhere to the teachings of God, living a pious life would amount to nothing more than blindly following another's path without adequate judgement. My skepticism regarding the soundness of this thought process stems from the manipulative nature of the primary questioning. It appears as though the inquiry is not grounded in historical accuracy, and although there is no overt opposition to Calvin's ideas, the tactics employed resemble an incessant spiritual obstruction. This approach appears to be an attempt to reach a definitive conclusion through a process that necessitates making a resolute determination. Will your investigation entail procedural elements or a pursuit of knowledge? I wish to refrain from any condescending tone, but the tone of this exchange seems to exhibit a juvenile demeanor. When young individuals lack interest in a subject, they may resort to posing irrelevant questions that do not contribute to the conversation, ultimately leading to unwarranted prolongation.
