Even the smallest details, such as punctuation, are regarded as the unchanging decree of God. However, the reception of this objective written word can elicit varied subjective responses in saints, including a feeling of joy. The interpretation of what constitutes "rejoicing" is a matter that necessitates subjective understanding.The concept of abiding in Christ can be understood as adhering to His teachings. To strengthen our faith, it is necessary to deeply engage with His word, as He is the central focus of our belief. However, it is crucial to recognize that our ability to remain in Him is not a result of our own abilities. Instead, our ability to abide in Christ stems from our belonging to Him, as stated in the scripture, "apart from me you can do nothing." As human beings, we constantly seek growth and transformation, yet we have not yet attained complete renewal of our minds and bodies. Consequently, we eagerly anticipate the fulfillment of our ultimate destiny, experiencing a sense of longing akin to the pains of childbirth, alongside the rest of creation.The process of remaining connected to Christ is complex, encompassing a variety of emotions such as grief, suffering, happiness, and tranquility. This process persists until we attain our ultimate destination, and we will undergo a diverse range of feelings as we yearn for our future dwelling place. It is crucial to acknowledge that our capability to remain in Christ is exclusively attributable to Him and not our own endeavors.
